Kriti Kumar Joshi is the Director of Salt Trading Corporation Ltd, Kalimati, Salt Trading Corporation (STC) Limited is one of the largest business organization in Nepal established as the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) of Government of Nepal. Established over five decades back (13th September 1963), the corporation was launched with the objective to avail iodized common salt, as salt is not produced in Nepal and depends on import from India, for all citizens of the country. In its long run of dedicated service to the nation, STC has contributed to ensure proper supply and distribution of essential daily consumable goods, erode black-marketing by regulating market and artificial scarcity and industrial development in Nepal.
Mr.Joshi has major contribution in the Nepal Vanaspati Ghee Udhyog (NVGI). NVGI was established on Bhadra 28, 2033. Located on the premises of Hetauda Industrial state. The first production was started on Shrwan 1, 2039. The main objective of establishing the factory was to produce refined oil and vegetable ghee to fulfill the demand of these food products in the Nepali market to replace their imports from India. Being one of Nepal’s first automated modern industries, the factory’s initial production capacity was 20 tons of vegetable ghee per day. NVGI produces its premium brands as Shanti Banaspati Ghee, Grihani Banaspati Ghee and Shanti Soyabean Oil. All the brands have NS (Nepal Standards) certification.
Currently, he is the Public Director of Sagarmatha Insurance Company.
