Mr. R.K. Manandhar is the Chairman of Sagarmatha Insurance Company. It was also the foremost company to offer FM radio station initially called KATH 97.9 and currently Image FM 97.9 to the Nepali audience. Today Image Group boasts another popular news FM station called Image News FM 103.6 where they bring crisp news and bold debates to light. He is also the Executive Chairman of Greyhound Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Greyhound Electronics Pvt. Ltd has been the leading supplier for radio communication equipment & the solutions for mission critical communication needs. The sole authorized distributor and service center for world’s leading communication equipment manufacturer M/S Motorola Solutions for Motorola 2-Way Radio and M/S Codan Limited for HF Communication equipment.

In addition, he is also the Executive Chairman of Subarna Pharmaceuticals Private Limited; a Non-govt company, incorporated on 26 Aug, 1997. It's a private unlisted company and is classified as 'company limited by shares'. Subarna Pharmaceuticals Private Limited is majorly in Manufacturing (Metals & Chemicals, and products thereof) business from last 22 years and currently, company operations are active. Current board members & directors are BINAY BHUSHAN DATTA, JOLLY DUTTA and RIYA DATTA .
