The Sagarmatha Insurance Motor Policy covers the motor vehicle against any damages or losses caused by accidents, and legal liability to a third party for bodily injury or property damage. The policy covers damage to your vehicle, damage to another person’s vehicle, injury or death of a passenger or member of the public because of an accident. This policy provides an option to choose between the Comprehensive Motor Policy and Third Party Policy depending upon the nature of the coverage desired.
First Introduced in November 2004, motor insurance covers vehicle malfunctions, damage from natural disasters, theft or accidental damage, medical fees resulting from bodily injury, damage to the third party, damage due to malicious acts, and also covers injury/death caused to the passenger or the driver.
